Soliciting for the renovation of the School in Patikul, I approached
a colleague I have back when I was working in Dubai.
Apart from her pledge, instead of spending money for her birthday this APRIL on treats
to friends who can afford to buy their food, she said she wants to send the
funds instead for a feeding session here in the Philippines. Then I thought of
the displaced evacuees of the currently ongoing All Out Offensive by AFP in
Maguindanao.
Based from the meeting I had with an NGO based in
Maguindanao, On the average, a feeding session through lugaw (rice porridge)
costs P4,500 (~US$110.00; feeds ~100 families, 500 individuals).
To fulfill friend's request, and since I am heading there anyway after the renovation of the School in Patikul, I am appealing to families (clans if needs be or even groups of friends, team
of colleagues) to organize for the sponsorship of individual feeding sessions:
One group = One feeding session to be chosen below.
The following schedules for feeding sessions are available
for funding (Actual Data to be completed upon availability).

During the actual feeding session, a tarpaulin print of the
sponsoring group (name in text along with pictures if preferred) will be
displayed in location and with the bakwits behind.
